Refund & Return Policy

Overview

Thank you for purchasing our Thangka artworks.
Because Thangka paintings are high-value, handcrafted, and uniquely created art pieces, we follow a strict and transparent refund and return policy to protect both customers and artists.

General Policy

All sales of Thangka artworks are considered final once the order is confirmed.
Due to the unique, handmade nature of Thangka pieces, we do not accept returns for:

Change of mind

Preference-related reasons (color, size, detail, style)

“Not what I expected”

Digital display differences (color differences between screen and real item)

However, we will always assist customers in cases of damaged, incorrect, or lost orders.

Eligibility for Returns/Refunds

You may request a return or refund only under the following conditions:

A. Damaged Artwork

If the artwork arrives damaged, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

Clear photos of the damage

Unboxing video (if available)

Shipping label and package photos

We will review the case and may issue a replacement or refund.

B. Wrong Item Shipped

If you received the wrong Thangka, we will:

Arrange a free return

Send you the correct item

Or issue a full refund

C. Lost Shipment

If the package is lost during international transit, we will coordinate with the carrier and provide:

Replacement, or

Full refund

based on carrier confirmation.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of Thangka artworks, we do not accept returns for:

Custom-made or commissioned works

Items that have been used or damaged by customer

Items returned without prior approval

Items without original packaging

Orders reported after 7 days of receiving the product

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.

Return Conditions

If a return is approved:

Items must be returned in their original packaging

Artwork must remain in unused, undamaged condition

Customer is responsible for return shipping cost unless the error is ours

Tracking number must be provided to us within 5 days after approval

Refund Process

Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will confirm whether the refund is approved.

Refund method:

Stripe / PayPal / Credit Card: refunded back to the original payment method

Processing time: 5–10 business days (depending on the bank)

If a refund is denied, we will provide a clear explanation.

Order Cancellation

Orders may be canceled only within 2 hours after purchase.

Once we begin packaging or shipping, the order cannot be canceled.

Color, Texture & Handmade Variations

Each Thangka is painted by hand, so slight variations in:

color

brush texture

material

outline details

shading

are considered normal and part of the artwork’s authenticity, not quality issues.

These variations cannot be used as a reason for refund or return.
